There, the Minister had discussions with Director General of the Academy Per Olsson Fridh about a partnership for development, in order to match the areas in which the Academy specialises with the development interests of the MIA, including the development of institutional strategic foresight skills to support decision-making process in the security and internal affairs sector.

During the official meeting with Swedish Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer, the officials discussed the deepening of bilateral relations as part of the internal affairs development agenda, as well as the support Sweden might offer in the operationalization of the Security HUB. In this regard, it was agreed to hold a meeting for outlining the actions to be taken in the shortest possible time for the development of the HUB.

During the meeting with Jan Knutsson, State Secretary of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Minister mentioned that European integration is a strategic objective of the Republic of Moldova, and MIA is working to align with European security standards. At the end, Minister Revenco participated in a round table, organized by the FBA, where the main challenges faced by the Republic of Moldova, as the only non-EU country bordering the war, were presented. Participants discussed priority areas for strengthening resilience in Moldova and the concrete help the country needs to implement the necessary reforms that would ensure peace.
