The donation ceremony was attended by Adrian Efros, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gomez, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, and Lilian Carabet, the Deputy Chief of the General Inspectorate of Police.

The donation, which includes modern equipment such as tablets, monitors, body cameras and more, will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational capabilities of the police force and facilitating evidence – gathering activities. This support will ensure that human rights are respected during interventions, thereby guaranteeing the fairness of actions taken by police.

During the event, Adrian Efros expressed his gratitude for the generosity and support of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain, noting that with this donation the national police will be able to provide more efficient and improved services to its citizens. This timely intervention demonstrates that the Republic of Moldova has allies and is not facing challenges alone.

“Spain is one of our strategic partners, and our collaboration in combating organized crime, terrorism and maintaining public order sets an exemplary standard. With the assistance of our Spanish colleagues, our police will have access to state-of-the-art IT equipment, communications systems and video recording devices.
