Citizens and businesses operating in border areas will no longer face complex procedures, in-person visits to public authorities, or wait long waiting times for approvals. Following the Government’s decision to digitize the notification process, interaction with authorities becomes simpler and faster.
Under the new system, carrying out activities in the border area will require only registration and submission of a notification, without the need for prior approval.
Notifications may be submitted online, via the “e-Permis” information system or by email to the relevant unit of the Border Police.
A tacit approval mechanism is also introduced: if no requests for clarification or objections are issued within the legal deadline, the notification is automatically considered accepted. At the same time, the Border Police retains full oversight and verification powers, including the right to request additional information and to intervene in cases of non-compliance.
These changes will reduce administrative costs, simplify procedures, and improve the use of resources, allowing authorities to dedicate more time to surveillance and control activities.
