(video) Minister of Internal Affairs, Adrian Efros, gives details about the International Forum “Child Safety Online”

The fifth panel of the International Forum “Child Safety Online” scheduled to be held on Februarie 16, 2024 is entitled “Digital Education: measures to prevent online risks and encourage positive use of technologies by children”. Key topics center around EU policies for digital education and online safety, role of the European Online Safety Centres, the experience of non-EU countries, online safety education in the context of digitalization, national implementation of the Child Online Safety Standards and priorities for developing online digital skills for child safety.

Panel speakers will be officials from the Moldovan education sector, representatives of the global network ECPAT International, dedicated to protecting children from sexual exploitation, and European Schoolnet – a network of 34 ministries of education across Europe.

The event, organized in partnership with the International Centre “La Strada” with support from the US Department of State and the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova will bring together government representatives, international and national organizations, delegates from the European Commission and the governments of EU Member States, ICT experts, civil society, and other experts.
