“Safety is built through hard work, professionalism, and responsibility. We move forward with confidence and determination”, said Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin, who today took the oath of office for her third term.
For the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this marks the continuation of its mission to protect citizens.
Our priorities remain clear: safer communities and roads, stronger public order, and decisive action against organized, cross-border, and cybercrime. At the same time, we will continue to advance integrated border management, prepare for Schengen standards, strengthen migration and asylum management, and accelerate digital transformation in order to deliver modern and accessible public services.
Strengthening emergency preparedness and response capabilities remains equally important. We will continue to enhance our capacity to respond rapidly and effectively to fires, floods, accidents, and other emergencies while investing in the Ministry’s greatest asset – its people.
Through continuous training, the highest standards of integrity, and modern equipment, we are building a professional institution equipped to meet both today’s challenges and those of the future.
