The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had a bilateral meeting with the members of the Committee for Foreign Affairs and Defense of the Norwegian Parliament, visiting Chisinau.
The discussions focused on joint cooperation, the fields of cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Norway, as well as highlighted future actions.
In this context, the Minister of Internal Affairs appreciated the friendly relations between the two countries and thanked the Norwegian partners for the support provided in the modernization of the internal affairs system and in the management of crises in our country.
Adrian Efros emphasized the importance of intensifying collaboration in efforts to strengthen democracy and the rule of law, state border management, refugee crisis management and countering crime. This will significantly contribute to strengthening the resilience and security of our country.
At the same time, the steps taken by the authorities to advance our country’s European path and the challenges encountered in this regard were discussed.
The parties emphasized the common interest in strengthening strategic relations between the two countries.
