Minister of Interior Affairs Adrian Efros had an online meeting with his Romanian counterpart Marian-Cătălin Predoiu.
At the beginning of the discussions, Minister Efros expressed his gratitude for Romania’s support in accelerating Moldova’s European integration process.
’We appreciate the support of our Romanian partners in providing the expertise and consultancy necessary for the process of adapting policies to achieve the European vector’ stressed Minister Efros.
The counterparts reviewed the progress made in the implementation phase of the current projects. At the same time, discussions were initiated on the development of projects per segments of strategic interest.
In this regard, Minister Efros stressed the need for future collaboration on various areas, namely: minimizing the risk of fires, poisoning and emergencies; increasing public awareness about hazards, increasing the level of safety education of students in educational institutions at all levels.
Ending their discussions, the counterparts stressed the importance of further cooperation, strengthening the dialogue and establishing concrete steps to be taken in the context of bilateral relations in the field of home affairs.
