New minister steps in at the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Prime Minister Dorin Recean officially introduced Daniella Misail-Nichitin as the new Minister of Internal Affairs. The handover of responsibilities between the outgoing and incoming ministers took place in the presence of the Prime Minister during a ceremony at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In his address, the Prime Minister wished Minister Misail-Nichitin success in her new role and highlighted the importance of continuing key reforms to strengthen the internal affairs sector.

Daniella Misail-Nichitin, a member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs team since 2021, brings extensive experience to the role. She is committed to developing a more efficient and secure system that serves the needs of citizens.

“Dear colleagues, we will continue building a public safety system that is well-prepared to address challenges, meeting the highest European and international standards,” the Minister said.
