Chisinau, September 4, 2024 – The State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mariana Lucreteanu, met with Her Excellency Margret Maria Uebber, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Moldova to discuss ongoing cooperation between the two countries.
Secretary Lucreteanu expressed gratitude for the strong partnership between Moldova and Germany, stating, “We look forward to continuing our fruitful cooperation and further strengthening our ties, which are vital for both our countries, particularly as Moldova continues on its European path”.
The discussion centred on bilateral cooperation in various fields and the progress on the draft Agreement between Moldova and Germany on migration and mobility. Secretary Lucreteanu reiterated Moldova’s commitment to enhancing its institutional capacity in border management through joint assistance projects with Germany. “We are confident that by deepening our bilateral dialogue and cooperation, we can continue to build a safer and more secure future for both our nations,” she concluded.
