The Media Group for Security News on the European Political Community Summit 2023 (MGSN-EPC) informs that a delegation from the Bavarian State Police under the umbrella of the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany paid a working visit to the General Police Inspectorate.
The general objective of the mission was to establish cooperation priorities and to provide necessary support to the Moldovan Police in order to improve the skills of Moldovan police officers and exchange useful practices required for security during the European Political Community Summit to be held in Moldova.
During two days, the leadership of the General Police Inspectorate together with the heads of the specialized subdivisions discussed with the delegation’s representatives a range of effective measures and organizational strategies used by the German security partners.
All activities are coordinated with the national security authorities of the Republic of Moldova, which have developed cooperation protocols with the German authorities over the years.
The MGSN-EPC includes the communicators from the national public order, security and national defence institutions: Ministry of Internal Affairs with the General Police Inspectorate, Border Police, General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, General Inspectorate for Migration, General Inspectorate of Carabineers, MIA’s Academy ‘Stefan cel Mare’; State Protection and Guard Service; Security and Intelligence Service; Ministry of Defense; General Prosecutor’s Office; Civil Aviation Authority; National Administration of Penitentiaries.
