Every year, our country faces fires, floods, and extreme weather events that endanger lives and property. To better respond to these challenges, the Government has approved an amendment to its decision on civil protection training.
Its purpose is to adapt the training process to current realities and to the risks faced by the Moldovan citizens.
Through this amendment, civil protection training becomes modernized, aligned with European best practices, and focused on risk assessment, preparedness for intervention, and reducing vulnerabilities. At the same time, specialists, responsible staff within public authorities, and members of voluntary firefighter units will benefit from free, practice-oriented training, ensuring that every community has people prepared to intervene quickly and correctly.
This way, the country’s response capacities will be strengthened, protecting infrastructure and, most importantly, increasing the safety of citizens and confidence in the ability of institutions to manage emergency situations.
