Young people from France, together with representatives of the business community, will gain access to new professional development opportunities in Moldova through internships carried out in an international setting. To this end, an agreement has been approved through an exchange of notes between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the French Republic concerning the International Volunteer Program in Business.
The implementation of the agreement will facilitate the transfer of knowledge and best practices, support the development of local employees’ skills through mixed teams, and contribute to expanding France’s economic presence, thereby stimulating foreign direct investment in the private sector.
The program targets young people from France or the European Economic Area aged 18 to 28 and covers professional internships carried out within subsidiaries of French companies or their partner organizations operating in Moldova.
During their assignments, participants will be granted residence permits or resident cards by the Moldovan authorities, in accordance with national legislation and based on verbal notes submitted by the Embassy of the French Republic.
