Moldovan firefighters and rescuers will enhance their practical intervention skills in responding to fires and rescuing people from vehicles, including electric ones, thanks to a modern car-type simulator provided by Poland.
The equipment allows them to train in conditions that closely replicate real-life situations, including interventions involving modern, hybrid, and electric vehicles on fire. This will significantly improve the preparedness and efficiency of emergency teams.
The simulator, worth over one million MDL, was received at the Republican Training Center in Răzeni in the presence of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Victor Grosu, the Ambassador of Poland, Tomasz Kobzdej, as well as representatives of the Warsaw Fire Academy and IGSU.
“The new modern training simulator means more than just technology – it is an investment in people, in the performance of our rescuers and firefighters, and in our ability to act quickly and effectively in critical situations. It means better training, greater safety, and improved results in rescue missions”, emphasized Victor Grosu.
The equipment is part of the Moldovan-Polish Development Assistance Project “Support for IGSU – Stage III (Module 2)” and will contribute to the continuous professional development of specialists in the field.
