October 24, 2023, Chisinau: The Minister of Internal Affairs, Adrian Efros had a working meeting with the President of the Jewish Community, Alexander Bilinkis.
The discussions focused on aspects of institutional cooperation, the development of joint projects and the strengthening of national security.
The Minister of Internal Affairs expressed solidarity with the civilians, unjustly affected by the armed conflict. Adrian Efros informed about the reforms initiated within the MIA aimed at the benefit of the Jewish Community which lives in the Republic of Moldova.
The parties emphasized the importance of the Memorandum of Collaboration between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova and the World Jewish Congress (WJC), signed in 2018, the purpose of which is to strengthen cooperation in areas of common interest and combat crimes based on anti-semitism.
